Here's my first trial on a visual style for Vista. All I've done was removing the unnecessary streams (the diagonal bars, shadows, glow and all the white steam), and made the corners squared.
Changelog: 17 Aug 2008 - Decreased opacity of the body, giving it a more "fragile" look - Fixed the tool style window's borders I also planned to change the look of the taskbar, but I screwed something up, so I had to revert 5 Aug 2008 - The theme is now packaged and nice - Added transparency to maximized state (thnx ~webtrance) Don't forget to fave if you liked INSTRUCTIONS: - You need to patch several system files in order to apply custom styles. If you haven't done it yet, here's a good guide to it: [link] - Copy the extracted folder to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes One hint: All the custom themes still appear as Windows Aero and Vista Basic on the list, so you will notice duplicated entries in the display properties. Just choose the first one (the last Aero and Basic are the old ones) |
